Glory A Chance For Coyne?
By: Ben | July 3rd, 2009
Glory’s pursuit of Chris Coyne seems to be hardly promising, but the Socceroos defender has acknowledged he can’t fault Perth’s chase for his signature.
Perth really need to add some quality to the defence and it seems the club have targeted Coyne as the main man in those plans.
But Coyne, currently with Colchester, would prefer to stay in Europe to enhance his Socceroos prospects ahead of the 2010 World Cup.
Nevertheless, Coyne told the West Australian, “If things don’t work out with Perth Glory it won’t be through a lack of effort on their part.”
Glory might be a chance of securing Coyne, should he not find a suitable new club himself, with Colchester unwilling to guarantee him regular first-team football.
