Friday night’s 2-0 win over the Kiwis boys from Willington Fenix (sik, Kiwi style) means Glory have claimed 6 pts from 6 and are on our way to the finals….hopefully.
We’ve still got a game with CCM, who are 6 pts behind us, and that game should secure our top six status. Although a loss there and it’ll get precarious.
Nevertheless, its been a good week for the Glory boys, after Tuesday’s 3-2 win at Adelaide (The Great Escape we’re calling it) and then Friday’s 2-0 triumph over the Nix (Dadi’s disaster?).
Took in the game on Friday nite, with several bevvies under the belt, so I’m not the man to offer a great insight except for the big moments. Gotta say, when Dadi missed his penalty, the Shed lapped it up. Almost as good as a goal.
But a pair of solid wins, (and rare consecutive victories) means finals footy should come to the Glory, although whether or not there’ll be a final in Perth remains to be seen. It’s been a while.
A Home final is what we’re hoping for, and I dont want to get too carried away thnking about the title, cos we just aint that good. For now, would love some finals footy in Perth. Adios amigos.

I was expecting Wellington to give you guys more of a fight than they did, buy good win, nice goal by McBreen.
Ya must have loved when Dadi stuffed up the penalty.
